Admission Eligibility & Requirements

Before applying to Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom Madania, every student and guardian should be clear about a few basic requirements. Below we bring together the department-wise eligibility, age limits, required documents, and the admission schedule and fees, so preparing is straightforward.

Eligibility by Department

  • General standard: From Dawra-e-Hadith down to Ibtidaiyyah, every class admits students of at least Jayyid (good) grade.
  • Ulum al-Hadith & Ifta: These two departments admit only students of Mumtaz (excellent) grade.
  • Hifz department: New (sabaqi) students up to 11 years and revising (khatmi) students up to 14 years of age may be admitted.
  • Kafiya to Sharh al-Biqaya: Applicants must have averaged at least 70 marks in their previous board examination.

For Board-Affiliated Students

Students of classes affiliated with the Al-Haiatul Ulya lil-Jamiatil Qawmia Bangladesh board enjoy a special provision—

  • They may join the next class on the strength of their board marksheet, without a separate entrance test.
  • The board marksheet and admit card must be attached to the admission form.

Required Documents

  1. One recent passport-size photograph (wearing the traditional cap) attached to the form, and one additional copy submitted to the responsible teacher.
  2. A photocopy of the National ID card or birth certificate.
  3. For board students, the previous board examination marksheet and admit card.
