Departments

Which Department to Join

The Jamia admits students into its successive departments, from the earliest classes to the highest level, each taught under the supervision of experienced teachers.

Noorani & Nazera

From the infant maktab class up to class five — children build a firm foundation in Quran reading through step-by-step training in makhraj and tajweed, alongside essential duas and masail.

Hifzul Quran

A specialised department for memorising the entire Quran through the proven sabaq, sabqi and amukhta method, with individual supervision and regular revision for every student.

Kitab Department (Dars-e-Nizami)

From Ibtidaiyyah through Mizan, Nahwemir, Kafiya, Jalalayn and Mishkat up to Dawra-e-Hadith and the Sihah Sittah — the full curriculum that shapes capable, grounded scholars.

Ifta Department

Advanced specialisation (takhassus) in fiqh and fatwa for graduates of Dawra-e-Hadith. Students train deeply in fatwa writing and contemporary rulings under experienced muftis.

Tafsir Department

A takhassus specialising in the deep exegesis of the Noble Quran — Ulum al-Quran, the principles of tafsir and close study of the renowned works of exegesis.

Ulum al-Hadith Department

Advanced research in hadith and its sciences — review of sanad and matn, ilm al-rijal and usul al-hadith — cultivating skilled muhaddiths.

Adab Department (Arabic Literature)

Higher specialisation in Arabic language and literature — rhetoric, composition, poetry and translation — producing accomplished Arabic writers and researchers.

Da'wah, Irshad & Seerah

A department for da'wah and tabligh, the Prophetic biography and Islamic history — training effective du'at and speakers in the principles and method of da'wah.

Advanced Qira'at Department

Advanced training in Qira'at Hafs and the seven Qira'at (Sab'ah) — mastering the finer rules of tajweed and the modes of recitation to form skilled qaris.

Age Limits

  • Nazera6–10 years
  • Hifzul Quran7–12 years (Nazera completed)
  • Kitab DepartmentNazera/Hifz graduates; age relaxable
  • IftaDawra-e-Hadith graduates

Required Documents

  • Photocopy of the birth registration certificate (1 copy)
  • Photocopy of the guardian's national ID card
  • Passport-size colour photographs (2 copies)
  • Transfer or testimonial certificate from the previous institution (where applicable)
  • Previous class certificate or mark sheet for Hifz/Kitab departments

Admission Test

Admission tests are held in the first week of Shawwal. Candidates are assessed orally and in writing according to their department.

  • Noorani & Nazera: interview and basic reading assessment
  • Hifz: recitation, memory strength and tajweed test
  • Kitab Department: oral and written test on the previous class's books
  • Ifta: Dawra results and a written aptitude assessment

Admission in Four Steps

The entire journey from application to final enrolment is arranged in four simple steps.

    Admission Test

    Sit the oral and written assessment on the announced date.

    Result & Placement

    The appropriate department and class are decided based on the test result.

    Final Enrolment

    Confirm admission by paying the fees and submitting the documents.

Read the following madrasa policies carefully and give your consent. You can start the application only after agreeing to both statements.

  • The student must follow all rules and discipline of the madrasa.
  • Regular attendance in classes, prayers and examinations is mandatory.
  • All information provided must be true and correct; false information will cancel the admission.
  • The madrasa dress code and etiquette must be maintained.
